Description
Original song for spring or any time of year for primary music! Students will ask for this fun scarf activity over and over again. Recording Length 0:56
- Assign nine students to hold scarves (3 pink, 3 blue, 3 red). Instruct them to stand at the edge of the room leaving empty space in the middle. There is a verse for each color.
- Play the recording.
- Verse 1 : The students holding blue scarves will dance/move around the center of the room making flying motions. They continue this motion for the next two verses.
- Verses 2 and 3: Students join the center movement area as their colors are called and remain to the end of the song.
*Activity Suggestion: Change the number of butterflies and colors to suit your own needs!
