Butterfly Observation Book:
Use this butterfly observation journal to record the different stages of the butterfly life cycle through pictures and writing. Students draw, write, or use a combination to describe what they observe. Students then decide what stage the butterfly is in. They keep track of the days that pass and how the caterpillar changes.
Rock observation book
Students then spend time observing their rocks looking at characteristics like: hardness, size, grainy, texture, color, etc. Students create a book of their rock observations they can share or use to compare different rocks!
Frog/ tadpole Observation book
Use this frog observation journal to record the different stages of the frog life cycle through pictures and writing. Students draw, write, or use a combination to describe what they observe.
