My students had so much fun with this activity. It was interesting seeing all of the unique variations of kites they came up with.

My students loved this STEM challenge as did my Assistant Principal who decided to stop and do a formal observation the day I was introducing this challenge. Most of my students had never flown a kite let alone designed one but we had an amazing time and I have plenty of footage.

This unit was a blast and a great way to end science. It required a lot of problem solving and teamwork in order to get those kites to fly! Very helpful resource- thank you!
