50 posters for 50 different titles. Each poster contains either the last line or last few lines of a children's book.
Why offer students the chance to read the end before they ever begin? Reading these last lines may seem like they'd spoil the whole story, but few actually do. In fact, many last lines - like first lines - can hook a potential reader by enticing them with wonder. Wonderings about how a character got to that place; wonderings about what a particular phrase means; or wonderings about what led the story to this particular conclusion.
Print the posters and place them in plastic sleeves and house them in a binder for students to peruse. Or, print them and hang them on a bulletin board but cover them with a sheet so students have to lift the paper to read the "spoiler."
If new posters are added, you will just need to download them again to get new additions.
