Spellbound (2003, rated G) is an award-winning, FUNNY documentary about 8 kids from all around America on their way to the National Spelling Bee competition. This curriculum is designed to help classes of students watch this film and learn about US geography, history and culture, as well as the history of the English language and English spelling. The curriculum was written for English as a Second Language students but can be adapted for any students.
