Description
Fluency Stories for Adolescents features 12 short stories with pictures, that target common communication situations that your student may encounter in this age range. Open-ended questions prompt conversation about feelings and attitudes, advocacy, isolation, avoidance and frustrations.
There are no "correct" answers provided. Instead, my hope is that you can use these stories to:
*build a strong rapport with your student
*work towards fluency desensitization
*develop positive feelings and attitudes
*foster stuttering acceptance and
*help your student brainstorm ways to self-advocate.
You may want to use these stories in conjunction with other fluency tools, to build a personalized program for your older clients.
This product was designed to be NO PRINT, however, you can print and use in face to face sessions. Or, you can download to your cloud system of choice, and use on a tablet, laptop or even a smart board.
