Description
Piedra, papel, y tijeras. Students will love this rock, paper, scissors game that utilizes gustar translations. Put students in groups of two. Students will play "piedra, papel, o tijeras" to see who can advance their game piece. If a student wins with "rock" they move forward one space, a win with scissors would be a 2 space move, and a win with paper would be going forward 3 spaces. The next step is translating. If a student is unable to translate the sentence correctly he/she would lose 1 turn. The first student that makes it to the "el fin" box wins.
You can use paper clips, eraser tops, old marker tops, or small coins for game pieces.
Gustar translations include: Nos gusta correr. Os gusta nadar. A ella le gusta jugar al golf. Me gustan las galletas. Me gustan las papas fritas. Nos gusta el helado. Et cetera.
There are two different game boards in this set.
