Spanish Speaking Countries Project with Maps/Flags/Common Words

This is a very engaging unit lesson plan that used to teach location of countries in Latin America, along with a mini lesson on the purpose of flags. In this zip file you'll be given a fill-in for students to write on while listening to classmates present their featured country from Latin America. The rubric is included for that presentation as well. Also, I've given you access to the formative flag piece of this lesson plan. Students are given my sample in a PPT, along with that of my student teacher's sample, that was used to demonstrate how to create meaning behind a flag. Also included are the guidelines for creating your own personal flag to present to the class in Spanish.
