Spanish Rhymes/Poems for Fall - Dual Language Kindergarten/PreK

Fun activity for young students in dual language, bilingual or Spanish classes!!! There are 16 poems included.

There are three slides provided for each rhyme/poem:

Vocabulary Introduction Slide - Each poem has a slide that introduces vocabulary. This is to help students feel confident in words they will hear in the poem. There is light animation so be sure to play the slide to see all the affects.

Poem with Animation - The poem on this page is broken up so students only see a small piece at a time. Each piece is supported by a picture to assist with comprehension. This slide is great for the first couple times you say it with students.

Poem without Animation - The poem is provided without animation, but still with picture supports. These can all be found at the end of the slide show. There background color is white for easy printing.


Use the PowerPoint version of this rhyme collection to practice looking for letters and sight words with students. You can also print out a full page version of each poem and hang them up in the classroom or put them in the literacy center for students to practice with. After they learn them they will ask to go over them again and again. They’ll be practicing their Spanish fluency without even knowing it!
