La cartilla contiene 90 páginas.
Este es un libro de lectura inicial. Se pretende con este la enseñanza de la lectura y escritura a través del método silábico. Se dan a conocer primero las vocales, para luego pasar a las sílabas directas, después las inversas y finalmente las trabadas.
El vocabulario presentado ha sido adecuado para contextualizar al niño y plantearle un aprendizaje más significativo y con sentido. La cartilla tiene imágenes relevantes que concuerdan con el contenido del texto.
El maestro tiene la libertad de iniciar el libro donde mejor lo considere, así como empezar la enseñanza de las letras en el orden que desee. Se incluyen dígrafos CH y LL (aunque eliminadas del alfabeto español) para facilitar la diferenciación entre un fonema y otro.

This is a beginning reading book. This is intended to teach reading and writing through the syllabic method. The vowels are revealed first, then move on to the direct syllables, then the inverse ones, and finally the locked ones.
The vocabulary presented has been adequate to contextualize the child and propose more meaningful and meaningful learning. The primer has relevant images that match the content of the text.
The teacher has the freedom to start the book where he considers it best, as well as to start teaching the letters in the order he wishes. CH and LL digraphs are included (although removed from the Spanish alphabet) to facilitate the differentiation between one phoneme and another.
