What is an interactive notebook?

An interactive notebook is a notebook in which students respond to input by interacting with the material being taught in a hands-on way. It is NOT just a notebook with worksheets glued inside. It generally includes some sort of flippable or foldable template, flip book, graphic organizer, or an activity that is added directly to the notebook.
