    Description

This bundle is a great way to save on all of my environmentally themed Spanish resources! You can use these activities to enrich your lesson plans and supplement your textbook to keep your students engaged while they practice both their speaking and writing skills, work on asking & answering questions, and reinforce vocabulary related to nature, wildlife, natural disasters, pollution, and more!

You'll be saving 20% by purchasing these products as a bundle!

    Included products:

A Conversation Prompt Task Card Set: 72 leveled environmentally-themed questions (18 each of yes/no, either/or, short answer, and extended response questions), allowing for easy differentiation. You'll also get 9 bonus "Preguntas Profundas" that tackle tougher issues relating to sustainability and environmental justice. The set comes in two different formats (4 questions/card and 1 question/card) and both options are included in both color and black & white. The set also comes with a digital version of the conversation starters!

"¿Dónde jugarán los niños" - A Spanish Song Unit: A complete activity packet to accompany the song "¿Dónde jugarán los niños?", by Maná. This is a perfect song for practicing the future tense along with vocabulary related to the environment! This packet contains several activities that incorporate authentic, original materials from the band’s website, Twitter account, interviews, and their environmental foundation, Selva Negra, making for a culturally rich lesson that provides students with great practice in the interpretive mode, including both reading and listening! Also included are discussion questions and a creative writing activity, along with several targeted grammar questions to help students practice the various forms of the future tense, as well as to briefly review the preterite and imperfect tenses.

Circumlocution Task Cards: Task card set with 81 environment-themed vocabulary words to encourage students to develop their circumlocution abilities. The set comes in two formats (9 words/card and 1 word/card), and both options are included in both color and black and white. The set also includes a student handout describing circumlocution strategies, and a strategy reminder card that can be used as a quick reference, which comes in both Spanish and English.

Yo tengo, ¿Quién tiene? Card Set: A speaking activity to reinforce environmental vocabulary in Spanish. This set contains 28 cards with words related to the environment. As each student asks "¿Quién tiene...?", everyone must check to see if they have the corresponding card. If so, it is their turn to announce the word they have and ask the next question. If the class completes the activity correctly, you will loop through all 28 cards and end up back at the start. The set comes in three versions: color, black & white, and a simplified black & white to save on ink.

An "Ecuaciones con Palabras" Set: A fun vocabulary activity where students receive 45 environment-themed words to be arranged into 15 "equations" describing the relationship between them (think "fruit + yellow = banana). This not only helps reinforce vocabulary, but also to develop critical thinking skills. A no-prep version is also included, as is an answer key.

Two "Cuentos al Revés": A unique creative writing activity to reinforce both environmental vocabulary and grammar - one focuses on the preterite and imperfect, and the other is for practicing the future tense. The activity is structured like a set of reading comprehension questions, only there is no story - students create the story as they go! Students see the correct forms of the verbs modeled in the questions, which supports them as they craft their responses. Two versions are included: one with directions in English, and one with directions in Spanish, so you can choose the version that works best for the level of your students and your pedagogical preferences.

Both "cuentos al revés" comes with both digital and print versions!
