Description

Middle and High School students can read and learn about the Day of the Dead El Dia de los Muertos cultural celebration in Mexico. They will read the Spanish text, learning about what Day of the Dead is, when it takes place, why it takes place, and how people celebrate. They will answer comprehension questions and fill in a timeline. This activity will spur conversations about Latinx and Hispanic culture and how it is similar or different to the students' celebrations.
