Description

Every Spanish teacher needs this Power Point in their toolbox!
We now know as world language teachers that culture is supposed to be integrated into everything we do, but it can be time-consuming to create lessons this way. But this visually appealing presentation allows you to teach the colors vocabulary and take your students on a photographic tour of the Spanish-speaking world at the same time.

Fifty gorgeous culturally-relevant photographs were chosen so that teachers can highlight the vast cultural diversity in the Spanish-speaking world from tropical fruits to Flamenco dancers to glaciers at the southern tip of Argentina - there is a little bit of everything!

There are 76 slide in all; four slides for each color and each one has a brief sentence in Spanish with the color word used in context. Another sentence appears below describing something about the photograph and /or the cultural significance of the image.

There is a little quiz at the end of the presentation so that students can see if they know their colors. Answers are included.

On the very last few slides I put in the teacher information: standards, rationale, and five suggestions for extension activities.

I feel this is one product that you will use again and again, always delighting and inspiring your students.
