Spanish Beginning Sound Sort
What educators are saying
Description
This extensive resource includes all letters of the Spanish alphabet along with 5 objects per letter that match that letter's beginning sound. (Some sounds such as /q/, /x/, /ñ/ are also represented as middle or end sounds). There are 145 picture object cards in total, and have been updated to have transparent backgrounds to save on ink!
This resource is Montessori aligned, using all real photographs instead of clipart.
This resource is great for early literacy, matching words that have the same initial phoneme without the need for your child/student to know their letter symbols, and once they do know their letter symbols they can begin to match pictures to their letter as well.
Letter flashcards are in three color ways: red vowels with blue consonants, and blue vowels with red consonants, and all black.
This sound sort was fully translated by Diandra Morse, LCSW of Bilingual Playdate.
