Are you a Spanish 2 teacher and need to assess what to review with your students at the beginning of the year?
Here are 2 different pre-tests to see what your Spanish students remember and to inform your teaching!
Exam one is for students in a Comprehensible Input (CI / ADI) program and includes just reading comprehension plus a rubric.
The second test is for teachers who follow a text book and covers 11 units in a typical Spanish 1 curriculum. High school teachers may choose to use the entire test but middle school teachers may prefer to just use a few sections. Both exams are fully editable, so you can adapt them to your needs!
Each test also provides individual feedback forms to let students know which topics they need review. Keep the tests in your files, and simply pass back the checklist. Then share the Google Doc filled with hyperlinks to review and practice each tested concept. Students work independently, during class or as homework, to play the online self-correcting review games, making review time more efficient and meaningful to each individual student. And for students who need a complete review, it allows you time to meet with a small group and gives them a digital tool to attack at their own pace in their own time!
