Space and Greek and Roman Mythology Scripts and Activities Bundle

These performances combine the study of Greek and Roman mythology with our solar system. I recommend using all pre-recored video on the single class version of the show and a combination of pre-recorded video and live stage action in the multiple class show. In these performances the gods and goddesses of Roman mythology take the viewers on a tour of the solar system as they introduce themselves and the planets that were named after them.

This bundle includes both the single class and multiple class scripts as well as related resources. Either show could be a perfect culminating event for your science and social studies integrated unit!

The multi class performance could be performed completely live with the planet fact speakers and god/goddess speakers saying their parts live in front of the curtain as the larger dance groups get into position behind the curtain.

Or it could be performed with both live and pre-recorded video segments that you make of your students (this is my recommendation if your facility has the capability). As the pre-recorded video clips of the god/goddesses and planet facts play on screen each cast group can get into position behind the curtain for their live dance performance.

Venus Dancers

Earth Dancers

Mars Dancers

Neptune Dancers

Pluto Dancers

Age of Aquarius Dancers

Cast groups could be one whole class, half of a class, two classes joined together… It all depends on your numbers and stage size. I have done this show with 3 classes and with 6. With 3 classes we each were responsible for 2 live dances and then we all performed the Age of Aquarius Finale Song together. With 6 classes we each were responsible for one live dance and we all performed the Age of Aquarius Finale Song together.

These space and mythology themed performances can be used by an elementary classroom teacher, a music teacher, a summer camp coordinator, or a drama program instructor.

This product contains two scripts, song and dance music recommendations and links, full color printable participation certificate, various tools for organization and posting, ideas for costumes, video tips, props and background/stage décor ideas, as well as related resources!!!
