More About Passport to South Carolina Curriculum:

This homeschool focused South Carolina History curriculum for elementary students is perfect for families who want to explore South Carolina while learning together!

If you're homeschooling in South Carolina, chances are you've wanted to experience all of the history that this state has to offer, but have been overwhelmed with where to start.

Look no further! After enjoying a semester of South Carolina adventures with my three homeschooled children, I knew we had to share what we had been up to with other homeschooling families and teachers.

In the Passport to South Carolina Curriculum, you'll get...

  • a 36 week plan that's easy to follow & implement
  • three brief lessons per week
  • a one page teacher guide (with notes, field trip suggestions, and a quiz)
  • a brochure for your child to complete (with fill-in-the blank notes, a space to write about their field trip or another topic you choose, and to answer the quiz OR write down questions they want to research for later)

Whatever method you use to homeschool, you can fit this within your schedule, routine, or framework for learning. This curriculum is designed to spark interest in your children. They won't be memorizing lots of facts and dates. Instead, they'll learn about interesting people, events, and places in SC and explore the ones that interest them further in an engaging way with unique activities.

This curriculum is designed as a family-style curriculum. Older students will be able to take the notes, do research themselves, and answer deep thinking questions. If your children are all very young, they'll still benefit greatly from just reading the picture books, watching the videos, and taking the suggested field trips. It can be adapted to all ages or grade levels!
