Description

This library lesson mini pack covers source reliability and credibility with lessons for grades K-8. Each grade-level lesson is different and some lessons may be used across grade-levels so, for example, if you teach second grade, you may be able to use the first grade and kindergarten lessons as well.

In the younger grades, lessons focus on asking questions and fact vs. fiction while upper grades focus on source reliability guidelines using methods such as the CARS reliability test and niche lessons such as evaluating informational texts or infographics. Each lesson comes written out in lesson plan format and aligns with Common Core and AASL standards. Assessments, related PowerPoint presentations, and worksheets are also provided.
