Sound and Waves Reading Passage with Comprehension Questions

This is a very straight-forward reading passage about waves, and specifically sound waves. It would be a great resource to use with close reading or active reading strategies. It has 15 questions that follow, and all answers can be found directly in the text. I created this resource for an extra review for my 6th grade students before a test. They completed the questions individually and then I put them in groups to discuss the answers, with one "leader" of each group having the answer key for reference. I think the information contained in the passage could also be a good introduction to the unit.

Included in the pdf file is a one-page reading passage, 15 questions about the passage, and an answer key.
