What educators are saying

This is a great tool to help both ELL and Spanish students with literacy as it relates to being biliterate.
My students loved this resource that went along with our novel study. They did struggle with the vocabulary but I helped out. Overall it was wonderful!

Description

This is a digital packet for a novel study on the book El Soñador by Pam Muñoz Ryan and Peter Sís. I read the 2010 Spanish Scholastic edition of the book with my fifth grade bilingual students and they worked on one section of the packet each day. This novel study is best used digitally, but it can also be printed. Student answers are started in blue text, so if used online they are easy to read when grading. You will receive an editable version so you can use as is or add your own flair. Perfect novel study for bilingual or Spanish immersion classes!

Each chapter includes vocabulary words and comprehension questions. Page numbers of the book are labeled on each section of the novel study packet to make it easy to remember. Longer chapters are divided into manageable parts, and have their own sections in the packet. The last page of the packet states the CCSS standards. Enjoy!
