Description
This is a lit log for Something to Say, by Lisa Moore Ramée, the author of A Good Kind of Trouble. The book is written from the perspective of Janae, an eleven-year-old 7th grade girl. The main character deals with middle grade students’ biggest concerns of fitting in versus standing out, having friends, and finding your voice besides family and social activism (whether or not to change the name of the middle school). Unfortunately, Janae does not use healthy coping strategies.
