Description

This is a fun activity where middle school math students can practice solving two step equations while learning about American singer and songwriter Beyoncé.

Great activity to do in March for Women's History Month.

There are two separate worksheets which can be either printed front and back or stapled together (which I think is the easier way).

Students will solve equations on one worksheet, then write the number in the blank for the corresponding sentence on the other worksheet.

Their answers will them how many movies Beyoncé was in, how many Grammy awards she won, and more.

Included in this product are:

* One sheet with 12 two-step equations.

* One sheet for students to enter the answers and discover facts about Beyoncé.

* Two pages of answer keys, so you can quickly and easily check answers by looking at either worksheet.

Can be used collaboratively or in groups.

Middle schoolers love games! Make this more fun by having students write their guesses for some or all of the facts about Beyoncé before working the problems, and then later seeing how many they guessed correctly.
