• Assign students a partner and have them choose who will complete column A and column B
• Students will work on their own unique problems, and compare their answers with their partner. If the solutions are the same, they are correct and may move on. If they disagree, have them trade papers and check each other’s work.

• Equations will result in a linear equation with a variable on one side

Version B

• Students will solve proportions
• Proportions will have a variable in two places that are monomials or binomials
• Equations will result in a linear equation with variables on both sides (no quadratics)
