Description

What it is:

1. Instructional support

2. Summative Assessment on solving linear equations (including absolute value and inequalities). Multi-step questions + fraction sense included.

3. 14 questions

4. AUTO-GRADED!!!

5. “Editable”! Modify it however you want!

6. 3 total sections for organizational purposes: 1) Student logistical data such as name, email, and class period, 2) the math problems (both questions and answers are randomized), and 3) submission.

Tips on Usage:

  • Send to your students to get QUICK data!
  • Use this data to adjust your instruction.
  • Adjust the question in Section 3 of the Google Form to “Upload File”. This will allow you to create a forum in which students can submit pictures (or videos) of their work directly into the Google Form!
  • Consider downloading the Add-On called “Timify.me” if you are looking to integrate a timer into your Google Form! Note: if you do this, you cannot create an “Upload a File” type of question into your Google Form.
  • If you like this product, be sure to take a look at the other Auto-Graded Summative Assessments I have!

Understand solving an equation or inequality as a process of answering a question: which values from a specified set, if any, make the equation or inequality true? Use substitution to determine whether a given number in a specified set makes an equation or inequality true.
Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form 𝘹 + 𝘱 = 𝘲 and 𝘱𝘹 = 𝘲 for cases in which 𝘱, 𝘲 and 𝘹 are all nonnegative rational numbers.
Solve linear equations in one variable.
Solve linear equations with rational number coefficients, including equations whose solutions require expanding expressions using the distributive property and collecting like terms.
