Description

This worksheet examines the substitution of variables to solve various expressions. A prior understanding of Order of Operations is necessary. Only positive whole numbers are being used in this activity.

Front Side:
A code is provided along the top that students will refer to when performing substitution of the variables. Eight numerical expressions will be created in the process and solved using order of operations.

Back Side:
Within a table sixteen different numerical expressions will be created and solved using four different sets of variables.
