What educators are saying

Students were provided with a variety of equations at different levels to keep them engaged for the entire period and also identify areas that they needed to study more in.
My students were actively engaged while completing this activity. They commented on the novel way to practice.

Description

A scavenger hunt is a more engaging and mobile alternative to just giving the students a worksheet. Scavenger Hunts (Sometimes called Solve the Room) are a great way to reach kinesthetic learners and allow students to collaborate with their peers!

The topic of this Scavenger Hunt is rewriting formulas (sometimes it is called "solving literal equations".) The file also includes two different Exit Ticket printable pages for use after the activity/lesson to further check for understanding.

In each Scavenger Hunt, you will get:
-Detailed Instructions
-Teacher Answer Key
-2 choices of Student Answer Sheets
-10-12 Scavenger Hunt sheets to print and hang around your room
-2 different exit ticket printable sheets

If you have any questions/comments/compliments then please let me know! I'm currently teaching middle school Algebra so I'm doing this in my free time (what little of it there is, heh). :)
