Description
For this low-prep self-checking activity, students will practice solving absolute value equations. Students will need to know how to solve absolute value equations with operations inside the absolute value, outside the absolute value and both inside and outside the absolute value.
A variety of problems is included, please see the preview for a more in depth look at this resource! Solutions include integers, fractions, as well as no solution. Answer keys, teacher directions with suggestions for set up and game play are included as well as an optional student sheet for students to show their work is included.
Includes two different versions to better suit the needs of your students!
Version 1: Problems #27-30 have a variable outside the absolute value.
Version 2: No problems have a variable outside the absolute value.
In both versions, problems #1-26 are the exact same.
