Description

Looking for an engaging way to explore westward expansion?

Uncover the mystery of the Chuck Wagon Challenge with GATER Educator!

Students will love completing logic puzzles, deducting and inferring as they follow the Crime Scene Protocol and unlock this Wild West mystery with reading comprehension and C.S.I

The Chuck Wagon Challenge is a fictitious investigation, but the characters are notorious legends from the Wild West. The victim is Charles Goodnight, inventor of the chuck wagon and also known as Chuck Wagon Charlie. After an evening of hosting some of the Wild West’s most notorious legends, Charlie wakes to find that someone has forced open his newly designed chuck wagon safe and stolen all the cash, memorabilia, and valuables inside.

The perpetrator of the crime is Buffalo Bill, a Wild West legend who toured the country entertaining folks while making jewelry and selling it on the side.

The students in your class will be asked to use investigative clues, deductive logic, and inference in order to solve the crime. Hee Haw and Have Fun!
