Each of the 9 booklets in this mini book collection USES ONLY 1 SHEET of paper! Plus, I've provided both Black/White and Color printing options for your convenience!

The packet also includes a photo guide, showing exactly how to assemble the books. NO glue, tape, or scissors required! Just a few folds and cuts of the page, and your booklets are created. It's quite simple!

Two planet fact sheets are also provided. They are all students need for reference in order to complete the booklets. I've made the project as mainstreamed and easy for you as possible!

This Solar System Mini Book Collection includes books for:

  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Earth
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn
  • Uranus
  • Neptune
  • Pluto*

*Pluto is presented as a dwarf planet in this mini book collection.

In each of the 9 booklets, students are required to identify the position of the planet in the solar system. They are then required to give the distance from the sun, time for rotation and revolution, and other interesting facts about the planet. Once again, students just need to refer to the provided fact sheets to find the information needed to complete each book. So, while students are completely engaged and enjoying the activity, they are also gaining a deeper understanding of each planet in the solar system.
