Are you studying the Solar System? This pack "all about the planets" research poster pack includes 9 different planet posters. All 8 planets, plus the dwarf planet Pluto. There is a set of 9 posters where the planet image is 'fixed', meaning they are the same size on all posters. There is also a set where the image of the planet is a 'relative', meaning that the size of the planet differs on each poster based on the real life relative size to other planets. So, you actually get 2 sets of the same 9 posters..... 18 posters!!
I have marked these posters for grades 3-5. Please use your best judgment after you click on the PREVIEW button above. This will give you a better idea as to what you are purchasing. Planets and the solar system are covered in the 4th grade for me, but it might be in a different grade in your state. Once again, look closely and you can decide. :-)
Grab your media specialist, get some books on topic (maybe even your science textbook), get your computers ready, and have fun learning about the different planets.
This works great as a center activity, homework, partner activity, or however you want to use them.
In addition to the posters, you will get:
** title poster in case you want to display the posters on a bulletin board or in the hallway
** 2 images that show the solar system and the planets' relative sizes.
**cover page in case you want to have the kids do all of the posters and then bind them into a book. You could also make a couple of class books.
