Description
This flipchart presentation explores soil! More specifically, the following concepts are discussed: importance of soil, humus, texture, soil sizes and types, permeability, and pH of soil. There are a total of 45 slides. Some of the slides contain information/notes, images, there are several relevant interactive links mixed throughout that go to great explanations/interactives online, as well as a few review questions or turn-and-talk slides with images to check for understanding.

Please note: This was designed for 7th grade, but I think it can appropriately be used in 5th though 10th depending on your standards. I also used this over the course of three days. This is not a PowerPoint file. This is a flipchart that uses ActivInspire software - a free 30-day trial can be downloaded.
