Description
The last day of school is an exciting time for kids and teachers! However, all the changes can be overwhelming for some kids. This social story addresses the changes that may happen during the last day of school, such as: saying goodbye to friends, meeting a new teacher and classmates, and doing fun activities!
A social story is an awesome way to provide a visual or written guide for kids of all ages and abilities. Social stories can address various social interactions, skills, routines. The goal of a social story is to provide information to help inform kids in a simple and fun way!
When I work with my students, I find that having a visual example of what is going to happen, or how to solve a problem, helps to lower anxiety and increase fun.
