Social Story - Going to Physical Education

This is a Social Story about going to Physical Education class for students who struggle with transitions and students with special needs.

Social Stories help students get a better understanding of a situation or places they may be going. It is a great tool to lower the anxiety in students that have a difficult time with change. This can be utilized daily until the student shows that they may be comfortable transitioning and doing certain activities and tasks.

It can be read to students who have difficulty transitioning to a different class or to students at the elementary level, to help them understand what goes on in PE.

This resource uses some visuals within the reading to help students who may be less verbal and more visual.

It also is a great simple read for students who can read and understand simple language.
