Description

Teach social emotional skills with ease! Social Story "It's Never Okay to Steal or Take Other People's Things": Use this interactive book in pre-k or kindergarten and even first grade to help children learn about appropriate behaviours in the classroom! Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the most important stepping stone to effective learning.

This is a social story to help school children learn how to control taking things that belong to others and how to react when they want what other people have. Pair this story with regular information on how to borrow things and how to return things back to who they belong to.

This book helps kids understand what to do when they would like to use something that belongs to someone else. Images and examples are provided to help kids relate to the book.

SEE THE PREVIEW FOR THE FULL DETAILS INCLUDED IN THE BOOK.

FULL PAGE BOOK

Use the book as a whole class activity or print, laminate and bind it together for future use in your book library.

MINI BOOK

Use the 4 page mini books for younger students who might have short attention spans. Print in colour or black and white and hand them out as little take-home books.

HALF PAGE BLACK AND WHITE BOOKS

Use these for colouring activities and to give each students individual take-home books along with activities to accompany the book. There are two differentiated activity sheets.

EDITABLE STICKER REWARD CERTIFICATES

Use these throughout the week to reward kids who are following the rules, use dot or star stickers or an option to colour the stars also included. Positive reinforcement is the number one way to help kids identify bad behaviours and in turn encourage them to follow appropriate behaviours.
