Social Justice United States History Activities BUNDLE: Primary Sources,Stations

This is a diverse collection of resources for teachers working to include the voices of more Black people, indigenous people, persons of color, and women in their United States History classroom. The bundle includes worksheets, projects, and stations activities to engage your students in various aspects of U.S. History from 1600-1980s.

This bundle is for teachers looking to:

• diversify the primary sources used in their classroom
• teach U.S. History with the voices of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian peoples
• address challenging topics like racism, nativism/xenophobia, and sexism
• teach about slavery, disenfranchisement, pacifism, labor unions, and anti-immigrant sentiment in U.S. history

Over time, I created these resources to use in my American History courses with 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. I developed these as I learned about anti-racist living & teaching practices and attempted to decenter whiteness in my U.S. History classroom. I hope these resources will be a strong starting point for you & your students!
