Description
Teach students to take an initiative and set Growth Mindset goals with this classroom goal setting resource.
By the end, students will choose, manage and achieve a personal goal using the S.M.A.R.T. goal format.
Through these activities, students will have a deeper understanding of what it means to set and be accountable for Self-Esteem Goals that are S.M.A.R.T. or Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.
The objective of this resource is to support a growth mindset regarding self-esteem. Students higher-level thinking tasks include:
Identifying the importance of goal setting and a S.M.A.R.T. Goal Strategy
Analyzing personal competencies or challenges
Creating personal goals
Comparing and Tracking progress
Recommending areas of improvement for future progress
