Disclaimer: The author of the "Social Communication Skills Self-Rating Toolkit" is committed to promoting an inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming approach. The content and design of this resource have been developed based on existing research and insights from the field, including neurodiverse voices. However, it is important to acknowledge that autistic individuals and other neurodivergent voices hold valuable expertise and lived experiences in the realm of social communication.

The author recognizes the importance of learning from authentic autistic voices and seeks to continuously expand their understanding by incorporating diverse perspectives. This toolkit aims to provide a helpful framework for self-assessment and growth, but it is not a substitute for personalized guidance or the unique insights that autistic individuals bring to the conversation.

The author encourages ongoing dialogue and collaboration with autistic individuals, professionals, and advocates to further enhance the resource's authenticity and effectiveness. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all individuals, embracing the strengths and diversity within the neurodivergent community.
