8 Literacy Stations and Games
-All Stations are in color & black and white.
1. Homophone Match Up – Match the homophone to the correct sentence. Record answers on the recording sheet.
2. Vocabulary – Students determine the meaning of a word based on the context. Students write a definition and draw a picture of the word on their recording sheet.
3. Homonym Memory – When students make a homonym match they must write and illustrate a sentence using the homonym pair.
4. Root Words – Students are given a stack of word cards with prefixes and suffixes. They must match the word card to the root word and record answers on the recording sheet.
5. Idioms – Students draw an idiom from a stack of cards. They must describe and illustrate the literal and figurative meaning of the word.
6. Compound Words – Students sort compound words. {Compound word/not a compound word}
7. Past Tense Verbs – Students match the verb to the past tense of the verb (irregular).
8. ABC Order – Students put cards in ABC order and record answers on the recording sheet.
9. Noun, Verb, Adjective, Pronoun – Color by parts of speech mystery picture (Wooden Sled)

Math
-Snowman Glyph, Graph, and Graph Questions

-True or False with base ten blocks – Students count base ten blocks and determine if the number given is true or false.
