Slime STEM

Slime STEM Challenge- Oh no! The Ocean Slime (algae blooms) are growing too fast! All of that ocean slime is harmful to the marine life. We need the help of your students to build an ocean slime scoop that can successfully scoop up the slime. This slime stem challenge combines the love of playing with slime with solving a real-life science problem. Included are a variety of recipes for making slime with your students (or you can choose to just purchase some slime in advance). The students will follow the set guidelines to build a slime scoop. Students must stick to a budget and create their slime scoop with the available supplies. Learning has never been so fun!

This STEM focuses on solving a real-world science problem with engineering. It meets NGSS Standards.
