    Description

Are you working with a child who is struggling with their morning or night time routine at home? This sleep and morning routine bundle is perfect for kids who need extra support and prompting in the evening and mornings. It comes with a visual routine checklist, social narrative story, reward chart, and a tip sheet!

    WHATS INCLUDED:

    Visual schedule checklist

Visuals can be a fantastic way to help increase a child’s independence, especially when learning new skills or establishing routines. Visuals provide extra cues in their environment to set them up for success, instead of relying on solely verbal prompts.

    Social Narrative Story

Social narratives can be a useful tool to teach a wide variety of social skills and life skills, including establishing routines. By using a social narrative, the child / young person is able better able to understand what is expected and rehearse the situation as many times as necessary. This makes the situation more predictable and can reduce anxiety around routines.

    Reward chart

Rewards charts can be powerful motivators for some children, especially when learning new skills and routines that they may not have a natural desire to learn. They also provide an opportunity to provide positive explicit feedback to the child on what they are doing well.
