What educators are saying

Thank you for tackling difficult topics with grace and thorough information. I used this resource to help better prepare myself for answering my kids' questions in a succinct and age-appropriate way.

Description

Many students usually think that slavery no longer exists. They are always shocked to learn that it actually does. This product contains several mini-passages that describe various aspects of slave labor today (listed below). Each passage has a quick reading comprehension check to assess students' understanding. I've provided a color and black and white version, as well as a key. The ZIP file has a PDF student version for posting on personal sites, such as Google classroom or Canvas, or sending to students through email for distance learning. Please do not post of public sites. (These are NOT editable files.)
