Description

Slap and Say is a game. This product includes a board with vowels, various letters, and consonant clusters. There are 14 different game boards.

The teacher provides the students with a game board. Then the teacher calls out a word. The students then slap the appropriate hand and say the sound.

Example: The teacher hands out the vowel hands game board.
She then says the word "hat." The students would slap the "a" hand and say the short a sound.

This can be done for letter id. The teacher would say a letter or the sound the letter makes and the students would say the letter or sound and slap it.

It can also be used for beginning or ending sounds.

There are many ways to use these boards. Get creative.
