Description
Scale factors and proportions are major concepts needed to build the foundation for solving problems with similar figures. This skill builder activity can be used as notes, remediation, extra practice, or as substitute plans. This is also perfect for students who are frequently absent whether for good/bad reasons or students who are new and need to get up to speed (there should be NO EXCUSE to fall/stay behind!). What makes this resource unique is there are QR codes embedded in the worksheet that take the students to videos in either English or Spanish. I found this necessary because I work at a school with a population of over 80% Hispanics and good chunk of those students do not speak English.
PLEASE NOTE: The video notes essentially follow the format of I DO, YOU DO. Only half of the problems are worked out, and I only give the answers to the other half of the problems in the video.

v Format #3: No QR code included and a space for the name of the student included
v Format #4: Same as Format #3 except all the numbers in the problem are excluded (this is typically run my class: I reveal the numbers for them to copy so they can work in teams to solve the problems).
v Format #5: Solutions for all the problems.
