I use this as a sketchbook prompt for a weekly sketchbook assignment that is inspired by an artist.
Artists can be a great jumping off point for art making and inspiration!!!
They biographical information, works of art, and an art journal activity that utilizes some aspects of each work. The activity allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the work and how students can use it as inspiration in their own work.
