Description

This simulation is an easy, low-prep activity to engage students in what Crusaders would have experienced journeying to the Holy Lands!

Students take on the perspective of a Crusader and must make decisions to try and make it to the Holy Land in time to fight! Spark their creativity by encouraging them to come up with hashtags, mentions, and tweets about their experience!

Simulations can be such fun and meaningful activities, but they often take a lot of work and preparation to set up, which is why we did all of the work for you! You don't need to cut, purchase, or set-up anything to do this simulation, simply present the slideshow to your students and copy or share the handout with them.

This simulation is an amazing way to engage students in history and can even help build a classroom community!! This simulation can be easily modified to be collaborative or individual and can be directed entirely with your projector!!

This simulation includes:

  • Simulation PowerPoint
  • Gameboard
  • OPTIONAL: RAFT Assessment
  • Directions on how to use
  • Digital Links for All Assignments
