What educators are saying

I loved using this with my students and they loved doing it. It was a fun and easy way to differentiate between types of sentences.
This was a great resource to practice making more detailed sentences. My students were able to understand and apply this skill.

Description

An entire week of simple, compound, & complex sentences - hands on, engaging lessons with little prep required. Over 120 pages/slides included! 3 GOOGLE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED! (Please see description below for more information on which activities are compatible with google slides.)

In this huge grammar packet, students will learn to identify simple, compound, and complex sentences.. They will be able to identify signal words that help them to identify dependent clauses that are found in complex sentences. They will be introduced to how the types of clauses are joined together to form sentences.

I have worked very hard to include hands on activities that will be meaningful and fun for your students. There is little to no prep for all activities, and the lesson plans are editable. You can also just copy and paste them to your current plans. I hope this makes your lives a little easier, teacher friends. Enjoy!

I have included 2 versions of activities to help differentiate with your students.

  • Simple & compound activities for those who are not ready for complex sentences.
  • Simple, compound & complex activities for those who are ready to learn about complex sentences as well.
