Description
Similarity refers to figures that are the same size and same shape. We can use proportions and similar figures to predict the height of objects in photographs. For this mini project, you are to take a digital picture of yourself standing next to a TALL object. (It is preferable that you take the picture next to something you can NOT measure the height of.) Then you will print your picture and use it to PREDICT how tall your object is. To do this, think about the properties we have used in class relating to similarity and proportions.
