Silent E Phonics Lessons | Structured Literacy | Science of Reading

I created these lessons because my core program was just not cutting it! I was working so hard and my students were still not making the growth they needed to! After countless trainings, research and book studies into The Science of Reading, I quickly realized that my program was never going to provide my students with the explicit whole-group instruction they so desperately needed! I felt like a rock star in my small group, but because I was relying solely on my balanced-literacy curriculum to teach whole group phonics, I felt defeated and frustrated. NOT ANY MORE! I took matters into my own hands and created a series of structured literacy phonics lessons that are based entirely on all my trainings, readings and experience! Most importantly, they are completely aligned to the Science of Reading.
