Description

Sight Words for Kindergarten, Flashcards for Kids, Checklists and Wordlists for Young Readers, Dolch Primer

This pack of 22 pages includes ‎

‎-‎ a set of 52 Primer Dolch Sight Words Flashcards on a white ‎background (more suitable for table-top use or close-range ‎displays)‎

‎-‎ ‎10 keyring wordlists to reinforce these words on the go. ‎

‎ ‎

‎-‎ ‎10 tables to track progress. ‎

Flashcards are a simple and versatile tool to teach and learn with. They ‎are a great way to introduce new vocabulary and can be a great source ‎of activities and games. Improve word recognition skills for your ‎children or your students using these printable Dolch Sight Word ‎Flashcards with Primer words!

They can be used at home or in the classroom for targeted word ‎practice. It is recommended that the flashcards be introduced ‎gradually and incorporated into fun games and activities. Introducing ‎them all at once might be a little overwhelming for learners of all ages.‎

Turn these sight words flashcards into a fishing game! Print the ‎flashcards out on cardstock and laminate them. Clip a paperclip to each ‎card. Attach a magnet to the end of a string tied to a stick to use as a ‎‎"fishing rod." Call out words and have your child "fish" for the card with ‎the right word. It's a great way to make word recognition fun!‎

Alternatively, print two sets of flashcards and play a memory game ‎together. You can begin by using a few words at a time. The game ‎starts with all the cards face down and players take turns turning over ‎two cards. If the two cards have the same word, they keep the cards, if ‎not they turn the cards face down again. ‎

Laminate the wordlists, attach them to a keyring and carry them with ‎you for your child to practice on the go. Make the most of the time ‎spent waiting or traveling by going over the words already mastered, ‎playing a game of eye-spy ‘A word beginning with ‘a’’ or that ‘has a ‎double letter’.

Reinforcement and consistency are key!

Use the checklists to track your children’s/students’ progress by ‎marking the tables using a marker or display them for your child and ‎reward them with stars and stickers!
